Requirements to Enter Canada
Visitors from most countries will require either a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid Canadian visa.
You can find out what, if anything, you need to enter Canada here.
Applying for an Electronic Travel Authorization
Applying for an eTA is a simple and inexpensive online process. Most eTA-eligible applicants will get their authorization within minutes of submitting the online form. You can apply here.
Applying for a Visa
Once you have confirmed whether you need a visa, you can download an application package or apply online at Citizenship and Immigration Canada. An application can also be filled out and processed at Canadian Consulates in many countries.
The CPSC strongly recommends you apply for a visa as soon as possible to ensure it’s processed in time for the event. Approval timelines can be long. The Government of Canada advises travellers to apply at least 120 days prior to planned travel.
PSCC is registered with Immigration Canada to help facilitate the process. If you require a visa Letter from the CPSC confirming your registration, please email us at [email protected] after registering. You can also provide us with your visa reference number so we can provide it to Immigration Canada to help expedite the process.
